If you would like to use it on a Ronin 2 or other similar stabilized head (Movi XL, Flight /head, Scorpio…) where support from the top is needed, you’ll likely need this Ronin 2 and Stabilized head kit
It allows you to change the position of the motor from top to side and have an ability to screw in the top support on stabilized heads. Also it’s Ronin 2 dovetail compatible, so you just slide it in your Ronin 2.
The Kit consists of the following parts:
– Main mounting bracket with Ronin 2 dovetail – also compatible with other heads, as you have an option to screw additional plate to it.
– Top mounting bracket – Gives you versatile 1/4″ and Arri mounting holes
– Short back extension – shortens the back of the RollRig, very important for Ronin 2
-Ronin 2 to Roll Rig power cable – 4+2pin connector (Ronin connector) to Movcam 6pin
-Movcam 6pin connector and cable with open end – Can be customized to power the RollRig from any head or steadicam sled. We can also do a customization if you wish.
